Life as ASASI TESL UiTM student (Sem2 - December2012/April2013)

So, for my Second semester, I don't wish to explain how I got there blablabla but for this sem I got new roommate! Two seniors and one coursemate! Those two seniors only had two weeks left there when we got in. Guess what happened after those weeks passed? WE CONQUERED THE ROOM FOR THE WHOLE SEMESTER IT WAS AWESOME!!! *throw confetti*

Anyway, I got sorted into Group D! Oh yeah, we realized that our lecturers just played around with ranking of the classes, previous Group A was now Group E, Group B was Group D, so on and so forth. Basically, I was still in Group B although some of my classmates moved on to Group E (supposedly Group A). Well duh, I'm not genius like them.

The subjects that we had to take for second sem were almost the same as sem one's except 'Computer Literacy', 'Malaysian Studies' and 'College Study Skill' were replaced by 'Drama and Language', 'Literature', and 'Basic Principle of Education'. 

Drama class was awesome! Well, it's drama. You can imagine what would you do in the class. You need to act of course! Obviously among all the other subjects, we love Drama class the best. XD

Guess what did I call my class as~ .. D'HAREM! Kekeke. Oh come on, don't you see it? We only had ONE boy and the rest were girls. It's obvious why I call it as 'harem'. XD

I love Lyana's expression here. Really suited her condition; being far away from all of us. And not to mention, this was unintentional! XD

Second semester was far more challenging from first semester because we had 26 credit hours to complete. TWENTY-SIX! Imagine how many sleep hours we need to sacrifice!

*cough* Putting that aside, I shall show you the place where I'd been spending almost one year there. 

Still remember my last post, where my friends Farah and Ummi took their picture at the front of logo? Well, somehow in second sem, they changed it from 'Universiti Teknologi MARA, Kampus Seksyen 17' to only 'INTEC'. Heh. Awesome, isn't it? We were kind of felt bitter about this but mehh~

INTEC Library; the only hang out place for us if we wanted an air-conditioned place. XD I must say most of us went to this library because of its Lab IT. Online, online~ 8D

'Kafe Gagak'; one of the cafes at INTEC. This cafe is popular for TESL students for lunch since it's near our buildings. I'd taken it on Sunday so yeah, it was closed. XD

As usual, in every last year of studying we will have dinner/graduation party. Ours was few days after last paper of final exam; 9April at Hotel UiTM. Our theme was formal so yeah, you can expect the dudes wearing tuxedo and dudettes wearing dress. Though there were girls who only wore 'Baju Kurung'. :D

This was when we were waiting for bus to pick us up at 'Bus stop Kolej Mawar'. XD

I had to ask for his girlfriend's permission to take picture with him. Kekekeke. Thankfully his girlfriend is my friend! Oh, she was the one who took this picture of us! XD

Luke, Luke, Luke, Luke, LUKE!! *squeal* Ahahahaha! Most of us were still 'fangirling' over him. XD

My 'Malaysian Studies' lecturer for first sem, and 'Drama and Language' lecturer for second sem; Miss Azzy! I adore her so much she is so adorable and cute and understanding and everything! She was being so patient on us and helped us when we had difficulty of portraying our character! I miss her so much ahikfbcikcbdcbdl-! (QvQ)

My 'Computer Literacy' lecturer for first sem, and 'Listening&SpeakingII' for second sem; Madam Ruqayya. She's awesome too. I admire her. I still couldn't believe she was interested on my public speaking regarding 'Cosplay' (yes I choose 'cosplay' as my topic). And when I told her the reason I chose the topic (for the ability to talk about topic if I'm not mistaken) that I am a cosplayer, she replied "Oh, I know". I was baffled! How did she know about it!? 

Dinner had been the last day for us to gather together since after that we would be separated. We didn't know which university we would get into for degree, and we didn't even know whether we would get TESL again or not. However, one thing we sure, we would cherish our moment together, forever.

Life as ASASI TESL UiTM student (Sem1 - Jun2012/October2012)

On 2 Jun 2012, I had been sent to UiTM ShahAlam for me to pursue my study in tertiary education there, in TESL. Since it was my first time EVER separated from family, I must say I felt quite sad to leave them. Come on, 18 years of living with my parents and I never lived at hostel, suddenly I had to? I was freaking out!

The first week was for orientation which they called as MDS (Minggu Destini Siswa) week. It was horrendous. Felt like you were going to a scout camp, but unlike only for 2-3 days, it was for the whole week! I was dying, if I must say. I still remembered how we were being scolded by those facilitator sisters because our voice was not loud enough during the singing part. Geez, you can't really compare girl's voice with boy's voice! Of course they are louder! (=x=")

As much as it was hectic during the whole week, it was quite fun as we got to see one match between UiTM's team (UiTM FC) versus PulauPinang's team. What made it awesome, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Student Affairs Prof. Dato' Dr. Abdullah Mohamad Said also joined those players to play! I must say almost all girls cheered only for him. XD

Anyway, after MDS week, we began our lesson weeks. For the first sem, we had to take 24 credit hours with 8 courses; 4 cores and 4 non-cores. The core courses were 'Reading', 'Writing', 'Listening&Speaking', and 'Grammar' while the other courses were 'Computer Literacy', 'College Study Skills', 'Islamic Education Studies' and 'Malaysian Studies'.

Before we got to our class, we had to take one replacement test where we would get sort according to the result of the test. And I, got sorted into Group B. It was awesome. I loved all my classmates there. And we, even called our own group as 'Barnian' as our class representative somehow was like 'Barney', and thus we are the 'Barnians'. XD

This was my class for Semester 1. As you can see, we only got four boys in our class. We; the girls love to fight over Luke and claim him as ours. Though it was only an act. Almost all lecturers believed that we were really fighting over him! XD

Yes, yes. You can see part of our campus/faculty there. Oh, we were taking picture near the INTEC Library by the way. 

I must say there was nothing extraordinary happened during the whole sem, mostly because our schedule was so packed with classes! 24 hours credit every single week, we didn't have any free time. The most common class hours would start at 8:30 a.m, and ended at 6.00 p.m.

Anyway, did I mention our campus and our hostel were about 15 minutes away from each other? And that bus was really hard to be seen there! We (the girls) stayed at Kolej Mawar, Seksyen 7 and our campus was at Seksyen 17; UiTM ShahAlam Kampus Seksyen 17 (INTEC). Yes, INTEC, the place where everyone who will pursue their study overseas need to come there for preparation. However, we were NOT INTEC students. It just that our campus and INTEC located in the same area. (=3=")

However we did have fun together!

That was it, my life as ASASI TESL student for first semester. Few weeks before first semester ended, we got news where our group would be re-shuffled again which mean we would not have the same classmates. We were shocked hearing it and kind of repulsed against it. Well, it couldn't be helped. (QAQ)

Next entry I would talk about my life in Second Semester. Byon, byon~ *heart*

Personal Photoshoot~ (〜￣▽￣)〜

Sammychi and I decided to have our own personal photoshoot cam-whoring on Saturday (23Feb), just around our University area. So, before Friday night, Sammychi went to my dorm and we had 'wig test' together. It was absolutely, certainly and surely.. epic failure; especially it was my first time wearing wig and Sammychi chose to laugh at my failure before she helped me. *bite her hands*

We took a lot of pictures with Sammychi's webcam - like I said; cam-whoring - but I don't need to spam this post with those fail pictures. *roll to the corner*

Anyway, the next day which was our 'photoshoot' day, we went out to search for place that we found it was 'okay' for us to take pictures there, and we came to a conclusion to have our cam-whoring at Kolej Kenanga; near the Faculty of Law. Our first choice was actually Faculty of Law but unfortunately on that day there were lot of people there. Ngee!

After much failure from the Blondes; especially me - of course, let's move forward to the Turquoises! 

I've made such a terrible and horrible Hatsune Miku, right? .. Sob. *plant mushrooms at the corner*

And cutey Sammychi was a Mikuo for my Miku; since Kaito is with Meiko. Lawl! XD

We were cam-whoring a lot there as there were only two of us. Yes, we were each other's photographer. Can you imagine how much failure we are? *dug sand and buried herself in it*

You're going to enter the cam-whoring zone. Please buckle your seat belt, and prepare a BIG bucket in front of you in case of some emergencies. *fly away*

Short-haired Miku: Where's he? He said to wait for him at 5:00pm and now it's 5:30pm! ((*coughdatecough*))

Short-haired Miku: One hour already.. Is something happens to him? ((Wait- whatt?))

Short-haired Miku: That's it! He is so going to treat me a lot of ice-creams! ((How is this becomes a story again? *whack head at wall*))

Rawr! 

Mikuo: Hmm, nice sounds. Perhaps I'll buy this. 

Mikuo: Is this clothes okay?

Mikuo: Fllyyyyyyyy~! 

Mikuo: I'm awesomeeee!! 

Mikuo who was cross-dressing as Miku! .. Fine, I'm just kidding. I just gave Sammychi the pigtails so she could be Miku. Isn't she adorable? I believe she suits to be Miku rather than me. *crawls away*

Anyway, after we were done with cam-whoring at Kolej Kenanga, we then decided to go to KFC at Seksyen 2 to fill in our empty stomach. So, we went to Kolej Perindu's bus stop; and there were few boys there. I must say they were 'afraid' to come near us as they waited far away from the bus stop. Buehehehe! 

Unfortunately, we missed the first bus because we didn't see it coming. And seconds after the bus disappeared, both of us received a message at the same time. Sammychi got message from Syasyachi; "I saw you and Ada. Awesome!" while I got message from my classmates; "Saw you guys at Perindu's bus stop. Cosplaying ehh~?". 

Mein Gott we were shocked because never crossed our mind our friends would see us. 

The annoying part was that we had to wait for about ONE HOUR for the second bus to come. And when it finally came, guess what? .. It was the same bus! Whattt!? Dear RapidKL, you don't have enough bus eh?!

...

So, we arrived at Seksyen 2 - cosplaying thank you - and met Wardahchi there. Actually she wanted to join us from the beginning but she had to go to our campus, so she decided to hang out with us. 

The KFC counter's sis was asking us; Sammychi and I what was the occasion and we bluntly said "Photoshoot". Kekeke. It was not a lie, was it? 8D

A lot, and I mean A LOT of the people there were staring at us but meehh- XD. Wardahchi even said that she heard someone whispered "Cosplayer, cosplayer" when we first met her at Seksyen 2. Kesesese! XDD

After we ate, we headed back to our Kolej. As usual, more people staring at us but we decided to pretend we didn't see it. The funny thing was there was one guy yelled out "Kpop" at us as he drove by and we were like "Aca-cuse me? Kpop?". But we just shrugged it away because we know not everyone knows about anime and cosplay. 

So, that was the end of our day. It was fun, to say the least. 

We are planning to do another one when we get our costumes. Kekeke. We are feeling giddy about it already. XD

I Got The Wigs HOYEAH! (ノ＞▽＜。)ノ

Right after Comic Fiesta '12 ended, Sammychi and I immediately thought of a plan on what should we cosplay during this year Comic Fiesta and we decided to cosplay Vocaloid. Don't worry Hetalia, we are still going to cosplay you~! *twirl around*

After long and long discussion at Facebook, plus with the EXTRA long suffering of waiting for our scholarship money, we finally got the chance to order our costumes and the wigs. 

What would we cosplay? .. As what Luka would say, "Go Google It". Lawl! XD

No. These five wigs are not mine alone. Two of them are Sammychi if I'm not mistaken and one is for Syasyachi! The last two wigs are mine. 8D

We are really excited to wear these wigs! We even plan to have photoshoot - just a casual one, or you can call it as 'cam-whoring' - since we don't have the costumes yet. 

I shall update about the 'cam-whoring' once we done it! XD
